Name: Chloe Rae
Age: 22
Species: Human (Japanese/Chinese)
Gender: Female
Height: 5’3
Weight: 120
Eyes: Dark Brown
Hair Color: Dark Brown
Rank: Ensign
Title: Nurse
Appearance:
Chloe has very typical Asian features. Aside from the fact that they claim her dark brown hair was from her great, great grandfather who was a native American. Though no one actually knows this, so there was no way to confirm that. When on duty she is sure to be properly attired according to regulations, wearing her hair up, but when off duty her long straight hair is usually loose or partially tied back respectfully. She is often seen wearing many traditional Asian garbs, though her cherry blossom decorated kimono is by far her favorite.
Personality: Humble or Modest, are the best words to describe her. She is very polite and though sometime speaks out of turn, she always has the upmost respect to whoever she speaks to. She is a bit on the timid side, but when it comes to her job she is as fierce as a dragon. Her favorite thing to do is to talk with people. However she mostly enjoys listening, paying close attention and smiling as she enjoys others company. Her favorite setting to talk is on the holo deck in a special program of her home. She has a great sense of duty and pride, but nothing is more important to her than preserving life.
Strength: She is naturally calm even in high stress situations, able to control her emotions well. This enables her to encourage and calm patients effectively. With steady hands and a gentle spirit she is perfect as a nurse.
Weakness: She is a bit shy outside of the workplace and tends to be timid and easily intimidated. There are also times when she remains silent and over thinks things, when she should speak her mind.
Ambitions: To become a better nurse and be seen as a woman of value and merit.
Hobbies and Interests: Chloe enjoys calligraphy and trips to ancient Japan and China on the holo deck. She also loves to teach others about her culture and share long talks over tea.

History:
Lien Rae, a very important businessman worked tirelessly to instill a strong work ethic into his children. He spent many hours working of course, but he also spent many hours with his family. Never wanting to have them feel unloved or unwanted. He stretched himself thin at times, but his wife and children would have family time on his schedule so that they would not miss him and so that he could balance work and personal life properly.
Mawie was in love with Lien the day she met him at the age of 6. Their families were very close and so she was around him much of their youth. It did not take long for feelings to develop and the moment other boys began to notice Mawie, Lien was quick to ask for her father’s permission to have her hand. Despite being too young to marry this allowed them to date. Her passion was being a teacher. However when she had her children she became the full time teacher of them. Dedicating herself to them until they were older. Then she began to teach again, but this time from her home so she would not miss her children grown and aging. As such her children were very far ahead of the curve and when they started school they excelled exponentially.
Respect was at the forefront of their teachings and infighting was quickly dealt with. First by talking and then more strict means if necessary. Honor, respect and peace were the mantras of the home and though freedom to speak and be upset was allowed, strife was not. It must be dealt with and move on.
Each child found passions suiting their own unique personalities. Graceful Lea was a dancer practically at birth, Chole was always trying to help people and the house hold had collected a slew of injured animals that she tended to and nursed back to health. While when there was fights Ven always seemed to know what to say to diffuse tensions. Truly they found carriers that suited them very well.
Chloe had finished high school when she was 15 years old and began taking additional classes to fill up the gap that had been left from the absence of school. English was the third language she learned while in Jr. High, but she chose to study Germen and French. She then began studying animal biology, thinking she would become a vet, but one day she heard that there was a vacuum in the medical field, not for doctors, but nurses and assistants. It was then her passion was ignited. She was the first in her family to join Star Fleet, her father seemed against it at first, but then when she told him she desired to bring honor to the family name and that she would be a healer, he gave his blessing.
Chloe is the middle child, Lea her older sister is a dancer and Ven her younger brother was inspired by Chloe and joined Star Fleet as well, he is now at the academy training to be a diplomat. Chloe graduated in the top 5% of her class and showed a great passion for medicine. She was honored to be brought aboard the Versatile and has been doing her best to serve the doctors and people on board to the upmost of her abilities ever since.
