(Some abilities I left off due to the fact that in later versions you only need to learn from scrolls)

2. Guardian Armor: move called Fire Tornado (F 1-5)
3. Wings: Ability to heal, cure status affects and bring dead back to life.
4. Swift boots: Ability to increase speed.
5. Shadow Armor: Move Shadow was added (Unknown what this move does, I never tired it)

Back Ground story of Character:
A young girl visited by an angelic being. Chosen and equipped with powers to defend the weak and fight those that would do evil. When the girl would wake she would know she was different now and soon discover that she had the ability to now speak with animals. With her faithful wolf Silver at her side and trusty steed Bolt she rides to meet every challenge that comes her way.
The Year 2004: (Kim age 7)
It started with a man and a woman like most stories do. They loved each other a great deal. Though also like most stories, tragedy struck and she died in a car crash leaving him alone. Well not completely… he had her works… she was a very gifted writer… she wrote a famous incomplete web poem titled “Epitaph of Twilight” and with her writings he created the game called “Fragment” why am I telling you about this? Just bare with me and you’ll see.
The Year 2007: (Kim age 10)
April:
I was ten when the rumor of an exciting MMO called “Fragment” was about to begin Beta Testing, It was a huge deal after all the things with “Pluto’s Kiss” and how the production of online games had stopped. How did I find out? Well unlike most that were reading blogs of people that couldn’t keep their mouths shut... I found out in a different way. I was walking through a mall with my dad and CC Corp was having a contest, create your own character, design a story, background, describe what the character looks like and some kind of special attack. If you won not only did you get to be a beta tester and have your character created for the game, but you would win some special prizes including a new computer meant to handle CC Corp games specifically so it wouldn’t lag or have problems.
I had never won any kind of contest like that, but I liked the idea that I could win a computer and I had never played an MMO before so I figured ‘Why not?’ I had to get my dad to sign the application for parental consent since I was under 18 and unlike the other people that just scribbled down some things I spent over an hour writing out my character and story as well as appearance. They even supplied a place to put in a sketch, (though most of the time was spent on the drawing as they didn’t give much room for any really detailed story). When I went to turn in the application they took my picture and attached it to the application and then I put my name and information with the application into the box. Well as you might have already guessed I won. I was surprised, but excited.
May-July: (Kim age 11)
A week or so later I received a brand new computer; it came with a headset, a controller, the beta version of “Fragment” already installed and the best part? It was all free! I got home from school to find it all hooked up in my room. I was so excited since the only computer we have ever owned was my dad’s. Now I had my own, I wanted to jump on it right away and play, normally my parents would have insisted I do home work and such, but seeing how excited I was they let me jump on. I was astounded by what I saw and experienced and yes even a bit scared. No not because I was nearly sent into a comma or something like that, but because I wasn’t used to really socializing… being an only child and not really having any friends in Real Life or RL. This made me a bit overwhelmed, but soon I got over it and dived right into the game… let me put it like this… it was Friday night when I got on… and I played till my dad yanked my headset off my head Sunday morning so we could go to church. (It was a good thing he and mom were out most the day Saturday)
It wasn’t weird for me to spend a lot of time in my room writing and such and they never found out that I was on the game the whole time, but the strangest thing was… I don’t remember getting tired… or hungry… or well anything I should have felt. In fact after church and some lunch that I mostly picked at… I went and got back on the game. So between school and the game I did little else. I guess you could say I was addicted. While playing the game I discovered tons of glitches and problems so I informed CC Corp as I found them. I started in May and in July it was shut down. I was so upset July was my eleventh birthday and I couldn’t even play the game I grew to love.
During the down time I was in contact with CC Corp, they told me that I had found so many errors and glitches they asked if I would Intern for them and trial test some programs. I was still bummed about “Fragment” coming to an end, but they promised me that they would keep my character data and when they could they would transfer her over to another game. With my parents approval I agreed and began to go through several things they had made. I found errors, glitches, and viruses. They couldn’t believe how good I was at finding these things since they had experts look at the same data unable to find it yet I could. CC Corp had me as their youngest Intern ever, as a reward they said that I would get any games they made to play for free and have the free upgrades and software if I kept testing them out. My parents gave me one rule. To balance my game play and since “Fragment” was closed I was being more responsible with my game play now studying hard in school.
Christmas Eve:
Imagine my surprise when I got an Email From CC Corp telling me that my character has been added to the new Game called “The World” I was excited, but nervous. I wondered how it would be in comparison. Soon all my fears were put to rest as I logged on; I wasn’t the first, but among them. My character was just how I left her, same abilities, same level, same equipment (The custom equipment that came with my character) and most importantly the same Items (I always was a huge collector); they said as long as I worked with them I could play for free.

2008-2010: (Kim age 11-14)
During the next 6 years I was a dedicated player and Intern to the game. I teamed up with a player named Dark. He and I would track down glitches and viruses. He was not a programmer, but a virus expert. He could handle any virus we came into contact with…. That is but one. The famous team called the “Dot Hackers” was not the only ones fighting. We were working behind the scenes on some other areas that were being overlooked even by CC Corp. Some said that we did a poor job, but had we not been diligent and stopped some of the things that were building up. The “Pluto Again” would have seemed like nothing in comparison.
After The “Dot Hackers” finished their fight, we were able to access a core world that was completely corrupted. It took us several attempts to cleave our way through the levels of the world, but eventually we did. We met the strangest of creatures at the bottom of the dungeon... the “Darkest Knight”. Some thought the “Darkest Knight” was a monster with a virus, some thought he was an NPC with a bug, but I and Dark saw how he moved and what he did. We knew he had to be a hacker. When this “Darkest Knight” spoke it sounded demonically distorted. Dark tired to delete him, but what normally would rid a system of all, but the most protected characters failed.
When the fight started our SP was sent to 0 and wouldn’t recover and our items were blocked. Dark was killed in an instant. I was left alone with the “Darkest Knight”. I wanted to attack, but it seemed pointless. Instead I spoke to him “Who are you?” I asked and to my surprise in an instant the knight went form being all the way across the room to being in front of me, he grabbed me by the collar and whispered ~Naught… Naught…. ~ he smiled and had a terrible glow to his eyes; I felt this intense shock course through me. Yes I actually FELT it! He whispered again ~A unique ability…interesting~ A black electricity covered me. I passed out, both in game and in real life.
When I came to I was in immense pain. My body hurt all over. I looked to find I was still in the World. I was alone and sill in that same dungeon. My items were no longer sealed. I used an item “Sprite Ocarina” to get back to the field so I could log out, but for some reason I couldn’t log out. I returned to a town and went to a shop to save, but received an error. As I reached in real life to remove my head set my character in game reached up and then I realized… I’m not finding a head set. I’m feeling everything right now. That’s when it hit me… I’m IN the game… Thus began my journey to figure out what had happened. I managed to get in contact with a few CC Corp members and had them check on my home. Apparently I didn’t fall into a comma… since there was no body attached to the computer. The computer had even been turned off and still here I was. It was then I discovered a few things.
1. My dad worked for CC Corp. (I knew he worked as a programmer, but I never knew or honestly cared who he worked for) He came into the game to talk with me and knew about what had happened.
2. The contest I ‘won’ was fixed. My dad had already told them to let me create a character, but they wanted it not to look like some kind of favoritism or break any rules; so he set up an elaborate contest as a type of loophole.
3. My dad said knew I had unique “talents” and saw how gifted I was when it came to electronics, but especially computers.
4. Dark was missing. It was kept silent since no one knew what really happened, but that was when I resolved to find answers. No matter what!
5. After talking with my dad I pressed him for more information and I discovered this wasn’t the first time I had gone inside a program. When I was four my dad was secretly creating a game. It had a headset like “The World” and he had me play it. I was really good at games even from a young age and this was meant to be a puzzle game. You go through a maze and then fight an enemy if you take the wrong path. My dad said it was as if I dove into the game. He coined it the ‘Dive’ ability. He was terrified since he couldn’t get me out. He played and when I beat the game he said the next thing he knew I was back in the chair next to him. From then on he rarely let me play games or even touch computers aside from at school, but it never seemed to happen again. At least not the same way. He said that I ‘instinctively’ was able to learn and understand the systems of even really complex programs. Not long later he had stated working for CC Corp. He got my mom hired, but for a different reason. See my mom is an expert hacker. She used to work for security companies and test their systems with her skills then boost the defenses.
2011-2013: (Kim age 15-17)
So for the next three years I was inside that game. I was taught a lot from programmers and hackers alike. My dad even taught me some really amazing things. I had too many adventures to recount, but let’s say in the end I confronted and faced the “Darkest Knight”. Who as we suspected really was a hacker. I beat him in a brutal and desperate fight. They never were able to find the user. Apparently all the information provided was false. We didn’t know if the “Darkest Knight” Hacker is out there in The World, or if he quit and moved on to other cyber crimes.
Afterward something strange happened. I was able to access the cores of areas he had corrupted and connected to them. It was the most intense sensation ever. I could see all over “The World” and saw the bugs. I began to work removing bugs and glitches. When I had put all the big viruses under control I saw a familiar someone in a room hidden on the back of an area. It was Dark! I hurried to that world and found him asleep. It was then I first met Aura. I remember her smiling at me and telling me these words “As Guardian… you must protect “The World” Never forget that duty.” A light emanated from her to me and then she was gone. I was stupefied for a long moment but, finally walked up to Dark and when I touched him my wings glowed a rainbow of color and he opened his eyes. Then we both vanished. I was somewhere in between the real world and the “The World” game. My dad told me my computer turned on all on its own and the next thing my mom knew I was in my chair like I had never left. (Aside from the fact that I disappeared when I was 14 and now I was 17)
2014: (Kim age 18)
Now you would think that after going through all that I wouldn’t even want to play a game let alone play “The World”. You would think that, but that wouldn’t be the truth. I not only went back to playing “The World”, but I dug even deeper into the study of computers, viruses, hacking… everything I could learn. I discovered I had an ability to connect to data in a way that seemed impossible. I played the game and continued to learn till the very end of “The World” which again took place on Christmas Eve.
2015: (Kim age 19)
The final days of “The World” were upon us when Jyotaro Amagi started a huge fire that took up many people’s dreams in smoke. But, that wasn’t the case for me. I had mirrored my character on a backup hard drive. I updated that drive every day after I got off the game so she would be up to date, just in case… I had spent a lot of my spare time working on an experiment. I created a server/virtual reality game pod. The pod looked a lot like a hibernation chamber. It enabled me to store and continually auto save all my data from “The World” and give me a place to wake up after ‘Diving’ into the game. I had set up backup generators and such to keep it going for long periods of time even if the power went off, When CC Corp (AKA my dad) found out about my invention they practically begged me for the specs. I sold them the specs, but kept ownership rights, so no matter who they sold it to I would receive royalties.
Christmas Eve:
So when they came out with the next version of “The World” and this time my dad once again approached me to intern and this time I was ready for them. I was nineteen now and more shrewd of a business woman, first I wanted to be hired for real and second I wanted my character transferred over with all her data abilities and equipment. They took a long time to respond, but finally approved it. (I think they were afraid at the response of other gamers seeing a character that is unlike any of the classes that existed in that version, but then again she was a specialty case.)
My dad created a contract and I signed it. They made me an Administrator privileged character and charged me with the task that suited my name and what Aura had told me. “As Guardian… you must protect “The World” Never forget that duty” though I still wonder what Aura was telling me to guard the world from. I don’t think she just meant viruses and hackers. CC Corp even allowed me to create my own @ Home/Area. The @ Home looked a lot like an old rustic cabin and for the most part the only people that were in my Guild were CC Corp employees. My Area was a floating ruined city, with a forest, mountains and waterfalls; it was my own private base for me and anyone that was in my party to come to. The key words are: Hidden Forbidden Sanctuary. (And the greatest part, no matter what server I’m on I can put in those key words and get there)
During the next 6 years I was a dedicated player and Intern to the game. I teamed up with a player named Dark. He and I would track down glitches and viruses. He was not a programmer, but a virus expert. He could handle any virus we came into contact with…. That is but one. The famous team called the “Dot Hackers” was not the only ones fighting.

During the next two years I spent most of my time being a bodyguard for hire, a scout and someone you go to for information. I would be hired to go with someone to a dangerous dungeon; recon it first then go with them. I would PK, PKer’s to defend people that suspected that one would try and get them. I also stayed in the background looking into the new problems that began to build with Tri-Edge and various other things that took place. Like before while Haseo and his allies worked more up front. I worked more behind the scenes… there was a special event that took place to collect the “Shadow Armor Set” CC Corp didn’t add it. It was suspected that a hacker did and they told me to find all the armor pieces before anyone else could. I was ordered to delete them, but couldn’t. So all I could do was keep gathering the pieces. In fact when I collected the last piece, the armor auto equipped (which isn’t supposed to be a possibility); the really strange part is the armor merged with my current armor.
The only change seemed to be now my armor was at level 0 and there was an exp gage with it. Suddenly my name glitched and for a moment it became ‘Shadow Kim’ and then returned to normal. Nothing else happened… I looked and I had gained an ability called Shadow. I chose not to use it till I checked out the code behind the item. Strangely enough a moment after that armor was auto equipped, Dark contacted me. He had returned to this game, but he acted different. We had scheduled to meet and talk. But, sadly that would not happen.
2018: (Kim age 22)
“The World” abruptly stopped. No explanation and my dad said it was classified. Though I knew the truth… but I also knew that they would put out another one… they always did and with the way people kept coming for more. I just dove into my studies in the mean time ready and waiting to be put back to work. (Though I got a little bored and made some alterations to my character. Now she has a white Wolf partner named ‘Silver’ that follows her in towns and anytime she gets on a Grunty or Bike it will turn into a horse named ‘Bolt’, I also spent a lot of my time writing up stories to go with my character in “The World”.

Christmas Eve:
Well surprise, surprise here CC Corp has yet again come up with yet another version. They did it to get rid of “Bugs” was the official statement. The only problem is half the people that were playing stopped trusting them. CC Corp was looking to be in big trouble, but out of nowhere some mysterious backer showed up and paid truckloads of money for advertising and the next thing you know “The World 3.0”
[I thank and applaud those of you that took the time to read my profile, I know it was long, but I put a lot of work into it. Please read the "short and sweet" for the wrap up]

Short and Sweet:
So Basically, when I was ten I won a rigged contest (if that even makes sense), and spent the next several years of my life as an Intern for CC Corp till I was hired as a real employee and given administrative privileges.
I had several encounters with hackers, viruses and the mysteries that are “The World”. Three things stick out the most; my friend the virus expert Dark mysteriously disappearing and reappearing and Aura appearing to me that time telling me I’m the Guardian of “The World”. Yes the encounter with the “Darkest Knight” and the fact I got stuck in a game for three years are some important facts, but these are the ones that stick out to me the most.
Though an interesting little secret. I built a machine that looks like a hibernation capsule and you can play the world from it. The thing is after getting stuck in the game for three years. I found out I have the ability to go in and out of the game at will. What we call ‘Dive’. So I built the capsule so that I would always have a place to come back to and now that I have moved out of my parents place I don’t have to worry about them turning my game off or disconnecting the backup generator.
So, are you new to “The World”? Thinking of giving it a try? I don’t blame you, come find me. I still play the role of the Guardian. I still help people out. Though if you don’t have the ability to pay now… that’s ok. You can owe me a favor. Hope to see you… on line!
