Appearance:
Due to her human side her eyes are not as big as the typical Besm, but are still larger than human eyes and enable her to have good night sight and be less sensitive to bright lights, her Flaming red hair is as untamable as her. She is rarely still and almost always seems to be bouncing off the walls with energy.
Personality:
Some say she must be part clown. Always appears to smile and never seems to have a care in the world. She never seems to take anything seriously and is at least a little crazy. She quite possibly lives in another reality most of the time. Though seeming really superficial, she truly cares for her friends and always tried to turn their frowns upside down. Usually by a fun trip to the holo deck, or her acrobatic abilities.
Strength: A talented acrobat, incredibly limber, she can always see the bright side and is not afraid to be herself.
Weakness:
She doesn’t always think before she speaks, tends to ignore the small details and cannot keep a secret if her life depended on it. She does get sad out of the blue at times, She thinks about her mom more as she grows older and sees how much she looks like her pictures. However, despite her friendliness, she has few really close people in her life that truly ‘know’ her. She doesn’t want to make her dad and brothers sad, and her responsibility to Vanessa as big sister makes her mask it. Lisa, is the only one she has really been real with up until graduation at Star Fleet, but hopefully she will one day find someone she can truly confide in and be her ‘full’ self.
Ambitions: To make as many friends as possible and keep them smiling at all times.
Hobbies and Interests:
Putting on shows for her friends and enemies alike, loves to do high risk performances and even likes to set up regular shows on a holo deck for her grand circus spectaculars. She also asks for volunteers to help out and join the fun.

History:
KK’s mother was the circus seamstress, she designed every outfight the troupe has and was constantly inventing more. In her spare time she would do a few dancing acts with a simple ribbon. She would wow the crowd and leave them awestruck to the very end. Her grace and beauty were not skin deep either, as she would be the surrogate mother to anyone who needed comfort, advice or just a friendly ear and a shoulder to cry on.
To say the circus was devastated when she passed would be an understatement, but they saw it as a gift that she left behind an identical daughter. KK took after her mother in seemingly every way. The apple of her father’s eye and little tyke for her older brothers to protect. Which was a full time job as she was always running off doing crazy stunts.
Lisa who was a dear friend of Katarina, spent time with the kids trying to be a surrogate mother to them. In the end this caused her and Bryan to fall in love. KK was 3 when her little sister Vanessa was born.
KK was like the guiding light of Vanessa’s life and though Vanessa wasn’t as gifted acrobatically, she was gifted with animals. KK encouraged her to do what she loved. Because needless to say KK did. So the family grew and developed their craft, sure they got hurt, and had fights here and there as any family does. They still were the closest bunch you could ever meet.
KK wished she had gotten the chance to know her birth mother. The Besm side, her mother’s side sadly avoided her human side and only allowed KK to come visit from time to time. This made it difficult, however she was determined to be that bright light and sense of joy to anyone that met her. This led to her being one of the most beloved members of the circus and by the age of 13 was drawing crowds by her name alone.
KK (Kathryn) was not content being a star performer in the Picket family circus. She wanted to bring joy and happiness to the many soldiers and serious officers in Star Fleet that never seemed to smile. Being very bright, she was accepted to Star Fleet and chose the profession of Morale Officer, determined to raise the morale in her part of the galaxy. She hoped to spread her cheer far beyond whatever ship she ended up on. To share it with the many worlds that were out there.
