History:
Richard served his king as a knight for many years (since the age of sixteen), but after a trial and a judgment he was banned a traitor to their kingdom. Banished from their lands and forbidden to return. The emblem of the king removed from his armor and his sword taken. He was ordered to continue on with the empty sheaf and scarred armor as a reminder and message to all who saw him that he is a traitor to his king and people. A fallen knight, the emblem represented his title and the sword his honor being stripped of both and commanded by the king to wear these every day as a sign to all was the worst shame imaginable for a knight.
Now feeling lost he can only travel and hope to find some kind of purpose to this life. His honor forbids him from becoming a bandit or some sort of bounty hunter so all he can do is travel searching for a new home, a new purpose and a way to regain his lost honor and dignity.
