Despite her deep fear of being hurt she is kind and compassionate. Seeing all life as precious and refusing to miss out on opportunities for adventure. She has an intense sense of loyalty, and carries an air of strength yet innocence about her. It’s obvious she can be naive, but she knows that others assumptions of her can put her in an advantageous position.
Wardrobe:
In public her hair is kept in a pony tail along with dressy casual attire, but when she becomes GuardianWolf lager silver/white wings are coming through her blue trench coat over a white top, cargo pants, a pair of fingerless black leather gloves and her curly hair lose around her shoulders and face.
History:
Kim has little to no memories of her life before being adopted at the age of six. The couple though kind was sadly among the many souls a city like Gotham would devour. After a brutal home invasion she was orphaned yet again narrowly escaping death herself.
Once again she was put into the system, but when she was adopted again this time it wasn’t such a happy occurrence. The man was a horrible wicked person and a sorry excuse for a human being. Even an eight year old child wasn’t immune to the cruelty of this man’s heart, but whether by irony or poetic justice this new ‘father’ met a most horrendous demise thanks his own devices.
Kim at this point was sick of the “system” and refused to be put back into it. Running away she sneaked onto a ship that to her surprise was headed for another country. Though discovered as a stowaway in the middle of the ocean they had a delivery to finish. Kim knew they would take her back and that she couldn’t allow. The moment they made it to land she did what she had to get away and for the first time seeing her wings in action. She knew she had dreams that would come true sometimes and even just KNEW things she couldn’t explain, but wings were beyond unexpected.
This started a life on the road; it wasn’t easy constantly traveling and being without family, friends or home, but eventually she grew used to it and quite good at not getting attached to anything. That and if she ever needed to make a quick getaway she could usually fly off with relative ease.
Over the next five years her education came from Libraries, the internet and whoever could teacher her something of interest. She would manage to get odd jobs to earn money; life seemed pretty much in control. Just when she was getting really relaxed with how her life was; that was when everything changed. First there were nightmares and then strange men in suites began to hound her. The men not only were not surprised at her abilities, but were prepared.
Again she was on the run, but these pursuers were a million time worse than anything before. She had to learn who they were and why they were after her. It took time, but at last she learned one of them was from Gotham. That cinched it; it was time to go home. It wasn’t easy to avoid being stopped by these men in suits, but at last a fourteen year old Kim reached Gotham.
It was night when she arrived and she hopped the darkness would be her ally; She was wrong. The suites waited till she was in a particularly empty neighborhood and sprung to attack. This time they had strange creatures with abilities she couldn’t believe.
Kim wasn’t a trained fighter, but desperation can give amazing strength. She managed to take down one by outsmarting it, but they were too powerful. All hope seemed lost as the net closed and she stared helplessly at her attackers.
That was when “he” showed up. Batman; the Dark Knight himself arrived; coming in from seemingly nowhere. He threw something that slashed through the net and with speed unlike anything she had seen before down went one creature. He threw something form his hands that emitted a bright flash and disoriented the other two.
Kim spotted the men in suits aiming guns at Batman, without a thought she charged wings level using them close line any she could. Batman used the confusion to finish the fight. He approached the girl with now bloody wings collapse into the dirt. He took her to the Batmobile. Kim half in delirium pleaded with him not to take her to the hospital. Batman was silent, but did as she asked. He took her to the batcave.
After being taken care of and regaining her sense Kim shared her story, though she was surprised to know that Batman already knew a good portion of it and possibly some things even she didn’t know. What shocked her more is that Batman promised to help her find the answers she sought.
Though Batman refused at first to let her work with him; It wasn’t long before Kim not only knew his true identity, but was even being trained some by him. She trained hard, but wasn’t physically very strong. Instead batman focused on teaching her how to use an enemy’s strength against them and to use intellect and strategy than brute force.
Kim took on the code name “GuardianWolf” though in Gotham she became known as “Gotham’s Angel”. She teamed up with Batman against the criminal underworld; she even was honored to work with Batman as he teamed up with the Justice League against Lex Luthor and played a part though very small in stopping Circe and her servants.
Despite how Batman can seem so standoffish she could see past his exterior. He couldn’t fully hide things form an empath after all. Things were looking up and she began for the first time in a very long time feel an attachment to a place and to someone. Alfred was like a friend, but Bruce… he became like a father and that’s what made what happened next so difficult.
After a close call when Joker, Scarecrow, and Riddler teamed up. Batman decided she needed to be trained somewhere far from Gotham. The thought that he wanted her to go hurt though she hid it as best she could. Not long later Batman contacted Robin and told her she would leave for Jump.
Kim wasn’t sure about going to be with the Teen Titans. She had never met Robin, but knew a lot about him. She wasn’t used to working as a “team” with anyone. With Batman it was different. She couldn’t explain it, but it seemed so easy to work with him. She greatly desired that father figure in her life. Someone to guide her and train her, but for him to give that job to someone else just reminded her that she had been foolish to allow herself to get attached to anyone.
Despite the pain she felt Kim obeyed Batman and once all was ready she was on a plane to Jump; city of the Teen Titans. She felt Nervous, scared, uncertain and thanks to encouragement from Alfred: excited. She looked out the plane window seeing Titan’s Tower in the distance “Ok… So that’s where I go…” she mumbled. Not sure why no one was meeting her and then a thought occurred to her, “(Batman didn’t tell them when I was coming…)” despite that realization and the apprehension she felt she was determined to join up with the Teen Titans, learn everything she could and hopefully help them in return.

1st Voice: “She’s left Gotham and the Teen Titans are now involved…as if the Justice League wasn’t enough!”
2nd Voice: “Let her go… for now we have enough data, we can only see her true power if “it” manifests.”
1st Voice: “Do you think the experiment was a success?”
3rd Voice: “Have you not seen how good and kind she is? Yet, she can be ruthless in a fight… that side is growing and soon it will be beyond her control… she just needs the right catalyst… and now that she is with the heroes… that catalyst will come quickly.”

(At first only able to summon by reflex after years of practice she can summon the wings by will, they are amazing things since they once manifested are tangible as bird wings, they can be hurt, bleed, broke, cut, burned ect… yet after some recovery time even horribly damaged they will heal and be as good as new. Also possibly have some type of negation effect to magic used upon Kim)

(Just as she can feel people’s emotions strongly she too naturally projects her emotions to most she interacts with. Due to this ability she is rarely accused of lying since her sincerity is felt as much as seen or heard. She has a natural ability to connect to others emotions.
